Description

These blankets are 100% wool 2/2 twill weave with black end stripes woven on a red body.

Finished blanket measures approximately 60" wide x 78" Long

These blankets have been woven on Family Heirloom Weaver's shuttle looms and have the proper shuttle woven return selvage edge on the long edges (which does not fray without additional finishing) found on original blankets.

Blanket weighs approximately 3.6 pounds

Blankets of this type were available for civilian, confederate and even non regulation federal use as seen in this Don Troiani image.
